Microvi to Showcase Breakthrough Nutrient Removal Solutions at the Water Environment Federation Conference
HAYWARD, CA (May 22, 2024): Microvi is proud to announce that our pioneering work in nutrient removal will be featured at the Water Environment Federation’s Innovation in Treatment Technology Conference.
On Thursday, May 23, 2024, Ajay Nair, Global Director of Commercial & Technical Strategy, will present Microvi’s cutting-edge approach to the circular economy. This technology not only removes phosphorus from wastewater but also converts it into valuable biofertilizer (biostruvite), transforming wastewater into a sustainable resource for agricultural use while mitigating environmental pollution.
On Friday, May 24, 2024, Savanna Smith, EIT (former Microvi Intern), will present groundbreaking research on Microvi's MNE Anammox process, demonstrating a 70-80% nitrogen removal rate. This process eliminates the need for energy-intensive aeration, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and significantly lowers operational costs compared to traditional methods.
We invite you to join us at the conference to learn how Microvi is advancing sustainable wastewater treatment solutions for a cleaner, more resource-efficient future.
