UK Water Industry Expert Joins Microvi
Jan. 10, 2017 – Veteran UK water industry leader Ajay Nair is joining Microvi as its Global Director of Commercial & Technical Strategy, the company announced today.
Mr. Nair has more than 20 years of experience in the water industry in the United Kingdom and around the world, including 15 years at preeminent global water firm MWH. He has served in multiple executive roles, including more recently as MWH’s Water and Wastewater Treatment Product Line & Technical Director where he led their technical development strategy. More recently Mr. Nair was a senior manager at Accenture, leading their global digital and analytics initiative for the water sector.
Mr. Nair brings a unique combination of practical design and operational experience and strategic thinking acting as a thought leader in support of the water industry meeting its short and long term challenges.
Earlier in his career Mr. Nair specialized in water and wastewater process engineering, including biosolids treatment and disposal, network odor control, process plant design, testing and evaluation and research and development. He worked for 6 years at Bechtel Water Technology Ltd., where he was a lead process engineer and has led the design of some of the most prestigious and challenging water and wastewater treatment projects. Mr. Nair has a Chemical Engineering degree from Loughborough University of Technology and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
